Membership

Join Pastor Bill for a Membership Class beginning Sunday, September 25, 2022 from 10:45 to 11:45 in the Sancturay. This class will meet for 12 weeks to explore what it means to be a professing member of Community Church.

Becoming A Member At CUMC
You are welcome to worship and participate in the ministries of CUMC without officially joining the church. If you are interested in becoming a member, we are offering up to four New Member classes each year. They are led by a team of church leaders and our pastor.

The purpose of the class is for you to

– get to know CUMC and other people interested in joining the church

– to explore your own faith

– to hear more about the beliefs of the church

– and to learn more about the awesome power of life with Christ

Membership can be obtained by letter of transfer from another church, if for example you have moved from another area, or by confession of faith if you are new to church life or have been away from it from an extended time. In either case, we’d like the chance to get to know you in the class.
