October 2021 Pastor’s Letter
Grace and peace to you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ; grace that provides divine assistance for daily living and peace to comfort us through all circumstances of life through the power of the Holy Spirit! Those words reflect the opening blessing of Paul the Apostle as he opens his letters in the Bible to believers; it is also a blessing that the Community Church desires for you to experience in life, and we work to bring these blessings into reality through our ministries, anointed by the Holy Spirit of God!
You likely know the Community Church in Waterford; the Servant Community Church in Sullivan and the St. James Church in East Troy are joined together into the Community Regional Shared Ministry.
After second service on Sunday October 17, we will have our Annual Ministry Fair in the Fellowship Hall at the Community Church and I invite you to join us! This is an extra special event because our 2020 Ministry Fair was cancelled due to COVID.
At this event, we will havea meal and celebrate our ministry during 2020 and 2021. We will also have a Ministry Fair where you can learn about the many ministries of the Community Church and discover how you can grow spiritually, serve the Lord and grow into the purpose God created you for. Also on October 17th, we will have our Church Conference where we will learn about exciting new developments of our 2022 Vision and the Ministry Plan for the Community Church and our Regional Shared Ministry.
Everyone is invited and encouraged to come to our pot blessing lunch, ministry celebration and Ministry Fair! Another component of this celebration is to present and vote on matters such as budget, membership, leadership and the like; please understand, only Professing members have the privilege to vote on these matters.
So please continue to pray for our Community Church, for our church leadership as well as our Community Regional Shared Ministry as we continue to seek the Lord’s will for our ministry which will lead us into a future of vibrant ministry, one of making Disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
May you have a blessed Fall!
God bless, Pastor Bill Busch
